Audrey is more and more aware of her world.

Audrey has actually started to interact with the little parrott you see in the foreground. She actually hit it a few times, to the shock and delight of Mommy and Daddy.
I think Audrey is wondering if Daddy ever puts down the camera. The answer is no, Honey.

Audrey is wonder, and we are so thankful to have her. Watching babies begin to become aware of their surroundings is fascinating. To see this little person begin to open their eyes and look around, interact with their world, and even seemingly to enjoy what they find is so heart warming that it is hard to really truly explain to someone who is not a parent. It is so very early yet in little Audrey's life, and yet Audrey being our second child, we kind of know what is in store. Seeing all of Audrey's "new" discoveries with this bit of foresight makes us really appreciate these milestones all the more. This photo set was taken the 11th through the 15th of September, 2007.
